LM339 is a low power precision voltage comparator IC. The IC consists of four independent voltage compactors that are designed to operate from a single power supply. Operation from dual power supplies is also possible, as long as the difference between the two supplies is 2V to 36V. Being a comparator IC, it compares the two input values and generates the output depending on the comparison.
