The PIC12F508 is low-cost, high-performance, 8-bit, fully static, Flash-based CMOS MCU. It’s RISC based architecture with just 33 single-cycle instructions. Except for program branches(two cycles), rest all instructions are single cycle (200 µs). The highly symmetrical 12-bit wide instructions result in 2:1 code compression.
Features:
- Precision 4 MHz internal oscillator
- Baseline Core: 33 Instructions
- 2 Stack Levels
- 12-bit wide instructions
- An 8-bit wide data path
- 25 mA source/sink current I/O
- Low power (100nA) sleep current
- One 8-bit timer (TMR0)
- Watchdog timer (WDT)
- In-Circuit Serial Programming (ICSP) capability
