MT3608 is a high-efficiency low-cost step-up or boost converter module. It can boost a 2V to 24V input voltage to 5V to 28V output voltage at 2A current. Since it is a boost converter module so the output voltage will be higher than the input voltage but the output current will be lesser than the input voltage.

The module has an inbuilt potentiometer to adjust the output voltage. Turning the potentiometer by CW will decrease the voltage and by CCW will increase the voltage. The module requires minimum external components to use in the circuit.

The device features with under-voltage lockdown, current limiting, overheat protection, low quiescent current, and soft start function.
