This XH W1209 is a 12V digital temperature controller module with 7 segment array display and waterproof NTC Temperature Sensor is an extremely affordable but highly functional thermostat controller. Using this module, you can control power to many types of electrical devices based on the temperature sensed by the W1209 temperature probe and it has an accuracy of 0.1C. This module is pre-programmed and has 3 tactile push buttons which allow for configuring various parameters including toggling trigger temperatures. The on-board relay unit can switch up to a maximum of 240V AC at 5A or 14V DC at 10A. The current temperature is displayed in degrees centigrade through its array digital seven-segment display and the present relay state by an onboard led

Current Temperature Status:

The module will display the current temperature in °C by default. When the module is in any other mode or ideal for 5 seconds then the module will return to its default state.

Configuring Trigger Temperature:

To set the trigger temperature press the ‘SET’ button then the seven-segment display will start flashing. Now You can set a trigger temperature in °C using the ‘+’ & ‘-‘push-buttons in 0.1° increments. If there is no further input for 3 seconds the trigger temperature will be store and the seven-segment display will return to the present temperature.

Configuring the Parameters:

To change any parameter, first long press the ‘SET’ button for at least 5 seconds. Then the seven-segment display should display ‘P0’ which is parameter P0. Then Pressing the “+” or “-“ buttons will cycle through the different parameters (from P0 to P6). Then pressing the “SET” button will allow you to change the value for that parameter using “+” and “-“push- buttons. After setting a parameter then press the set button to exit from that option. if there is no further input for 5 seconds then the module will exit from the parameter options and will return to its default temperature display.

Configuring the Temperature Range Parameter P0:

This parameter P0 has two options, C and H. When option C (default) is selected the relay will activate when the temperature has reached its set value. this option can be used for air-conditioning systems. When option H has selected the relay will be de-activated when the temperature has reached its set value. This option can be used for controlling a heating device.

Configuring the Hysteresis Parameter P1:

Using this option, the required temperature change concerning time can be set before the relay changes state. Configuring this hysteresis helps to stop the thermostat from constantly triggering when the temperature drifts around the trip temperature.

Configuring Upper Limit of The Thermostat Module Parameter P2:

This parameter P2 limits the maximum trigger temperature that can be set. It is a safety feature to stop inputting high trigger temperature accidentally by the user.

Configuring Lower Limit of The Thermostat Parameter P3:

This parameter P3 limits the minimum trigger temperature that can be set. It is a safety feature to stop inputting low trigger temperature accidentally by the user.

Configuring Temperature Offset Correction Parameter P4:

Using this parameter minor corrections can be made to the temperature reading concerning displayed temperature and actual temperature with this parameter.

Configuring the Trigger Delay Parameter P5:

Using this parameter, the trigger delay of the relay can be adjusted to reach the trigger temperature. The parameter can be set in one-minute increments up to a maximum of 10 minutes.

Configuring the High-Temperature Alarm Parameter P6:

After selecting this parameter and Setting a value will cause the relay to deactivate when the temperature reaches this setting and this ‘— ‘symbol is displayed over the seven-segment display. The relay will not activate until the temperature falls below this value. Here the default setting is OFF.

Note: Violating the safety measures may lead to total product damage and such products are

not eligible for refund or replacement.
