This is one channel TP223 capacitive touch key sensor module, designed for replacing traditional direct button keys with reverse pad size. The module uses the touch-sensing IC TP223 to sense the touch input thus making it easy to add capacitive touch to your project.
The device is very easy to interface with Arduino and other microcontrollers. The best thing about this is it can be used without a controller also.
It is a capacitive touch sensor so when a capacitive load, such as a human hand, is close to proximity to use the sense-pad, the sensor detects the changes in capacitance and activates the switch. In the normal state, its output is low and keeps it low in the power state. When a touch is sensed on the circular marked region, it outputs high and switches to a quick response state. When not being touched or 12 sec, it switches to low power again.
